Communicating complex ideas for a solar solutions provider
A provider of solar engineering composites needed a B2B microsite that simplified technical insights and better established its position in a growing market.
Ask
With advancements in technology and policy making solar energy more efficient and cost-effective than ever, BASF Engineering Composites wanted a microsite that would highlight its expertise and solutions in a way that was actionable, clear, and demonstrated its ability to meet the challenges of a fast-growing sector.
Solution
Motum B2B started with a process of deep research and interviews with subject matter experts to capture technical insight on the current solar industry and BASF’s portfolio of engineering composites.
Armed with that insight and expertise, we embarked on a process of creating content that positions the client as a market leader while demonstrating the rising prominence and impact of the solar industry as a whole.
This content was supported by a case study, completed in collaboration with a BASF customer, that illustrates the impact of BASF solutions in a real-life setting, and two interactives that allow visitors to explore small and large-scale solar applications in context.
To house all this content, a microsite was created with UI and UX designed to encourage customer interaction and offer an engaging overview of the client’s materials.
The result is a fully realized microsite that’s modern, professional, and effectively tells the BASF Engineering Composites story while positioning its strong reputation in the market.
