With over a decade of experience in B2B marketing, Lisa keeps Motum B2B running smoothly and seamlessly. She's what we call a multi-disciplinary multi-tasker. Having worked in graphic design, project management, client relations and financial governance, Lisa ensures that projects are completed as promised, that clients and team members are aligned and happy, and that all creative work exceeds expectations. Did we mention she's also a Journalism grad? On weekends, Lisa can be found camping with friends or cycling through the streets of Toronto.

Vice President, Technology

Mark Whiting has been with Motum B2B since 2001, helping to bring the agency and its clients up from the (relative) digital dark ages into the web-first world of today. Leading the app and website development department with ingenuity and innovation, Mark is responsible for so many digital firsts for Motum B2B and its clients that we've literally lost count. When he's not immersed in developing digital strategies for clients, you'll find him exploring niche hobbies like kintsugi (a Japanese pottery repair technique), singing, reading books, and playing through his huge library of video games.

CM, Director, Engagement & Analytics

Steve leads a team of SEM and Performance Marketing experts to make Motum B2B’s clients look like rockstars. A seasoned paid media executive, he brings his professional A-game to boost B2B brand visibility in the digital ad and organic search space. With a Chartered Marketer (CM) designation, he has held a seat on the CMA B2B Council for more than four years. When Steve’s not working to expand our expertise, he enjoys playing hockey, riding his electric bike (a Stromer ST1-X, for the bike enthusiasts out there), and playing Hearthstone. As Steve would say, “Onwards and upwards!”

DevOps Cloud Engineer

Working with a deep understanding of modern cloud architectures, Danny is Motum B2B’s DevOps Cloud Engineer and technological rock star. His proficiency in building resilient, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructures makes him our go-to expert for high-performance system solutions. When he’s not solving complex technical challenges, Danny can usually be found golfing, gaming, or customizing his extra-clicky mechanical keyboard.

Front-End Lead

An expert in writing elegant, high-performance code, Chris is also our advanced pilot in UX prototyping and wireframes, deploying his next-level coding and design skills in Figma (our go-to interface design program). He oversees the look and feel of web designs from the first draft to the final execution. We like to call him our in-house android, because his work is powered by drum and bass music so hardcore it’s unfit for human ears.

Technical Program Manager

Ryan is passionate about elevating clients through technology and innovation. With a degree in Philosophy, his day often includes a side order of deep conversations about the human experience. Ryan’s creative aptitude also shines outside of work, whether he’s crafting Dungeons & Dragons campaigns or one-shotting new recipes with the mastery of an Iron Chef.

PPC Strategist

Giles is Motum B2B's resident PPC Strategist. Whether you want to be found on the top of Google search results, in a potential customers' social feeds or in the magazines that matter most to their industry, he can develop the strategy and execute on it. When he isn't helping clients reach new customers, Giles is absorbing all things pop culture, with a special affinity for CanCon.

Librarian turned web developer, Phil specializes in JavaScript. Graduating with a Master of Information Studies, Phil’s love of finding and presenting information, combined with his desire to be creative, has given him the tools he needs to make each of our clients’ sites extraordinary.

As someone who gets to spend most of her day reading and writing, Tanya is pretty much living the dream. A UoT graduate with a Specialization in English, she spent several years freelancing before she ended up at Motum B2B. She enjoys gaming and pestering her colleagues for new reading material.

Content Marketing Manager

With studies in public policy and marketing management, Zamaan brings more than 8 years’ experience in content strategy, content development and innovative ideation to the table. His work as Content Marketing Manager at Motum B2B is inspired by human behaviour and smart design. When he’s not competing as a competitive tennis player, you’ll find him vividly documenting his nightmares in a dream journal.

CM & RGD, Marketing and Brand Strategist

A longtime freelance partner of Motum B2B, as well as a Registered Graphic Designer and Chartered Marketer candidate, Jeanette has helped businesses with brand identity and marketing for more than 15 years. She recently joined our team as a full-time Marketing and Brand Strategist. Here, her specialty lies in uncovering pain points, identifying opportunities, and highlighting strengths in an existing brand’s ecosystem to craft elevated strategies. Always striving to learn new things, Jeanette is also a passionate runner, looking forward to her second Boston Marathon in April 2022.

Senior Accountant

Born in Milan and raised primarily in Scotland, Margherita (Mags) took Management Studies with a specialization in accounting at the University of Reading. She later studied mathematics and Economics in Siena, then returned to Edinburgh to train and work as a chartered accountant. Mags’ talent lies in using a clear, holistic view of a business to advise on the improvement of its controls and processes. A natural go-getter, Mags played football for Scotland in high school and modelled for yogurt commercials and Guess jeans ads as a toddler. These days she stays humble by applying mindfulness practices from yoga and meditation to her everyday life.

Front-End Developer

With a Bachelor of Interaction Design and a keen interest in psychology, Ben brings a user-focused approach to his designs. He worked as a freelancer before bringing his web design and development chops to Motum B2B. A minimalist at heart, Ben boasts the cleanest desktop you’ve ever seen – and a love for snowboarding that once got him lost in the Swiss Alps.

SEO Manager

With more than 10 years of experience in Digital Marketing under his belt, Brandon worked at a SEO SaaS company for 7 years before bringing his expertise to Motum B2B. His SEO wizardry, inspired by a love for data, helps him come up with creative strategies for businesses. In his downtime, you’ll find Brandon unwinding with one of his big passions: family, home theatre, board games and video games.

Front-End Developer

In her early career as a museum professional with a degree in Ancient Mediterranean Studies, Nicole’s curiosity for digital heritage sparked an interest in web development. As a Front-End Developer at Motum B2B, she approaches website design much like a museum exhibit: besides her knack for making things look good, Nicole’s passion for usability, accessibility and inclusion all help visitors find valuable information. While she doesn’t normally listen to music while coding, you can often find Nicole jamming to pop punk.

Web Developer

After studying marketing at George Brown College, Wafa dove right into the deep end of web development. Her early work taught her to handle pressure, work efficiently and solve problems creatively. She fits right in at Motum B2B, where she specializes in the front-end capabilities of websites to create a full-blown experience, not just a pretty site. On her days off, you can find Wafa watching crime investigation series, going on road trips and planning her next hike up a mountain.

Project Manager

Working from her background in anthropology and political science, Danielle is actively listening to meet our organizational needs. As Motum B2B’s Project Manager, she creates processes and structures to help us all do our best work. You’ll find this history buff at museums in her spare time — particularly the National Anthropology Museum in her hometown of Mexico City.

Copywriter

With 10 years of experience working as a freelance culture journalist, content writer, and trend forecaster, Josh is a Copywriter at Motum B2B, where he helps clients turn ideas into compelling content. Outside of work, he enjoys gaming, reading, and writing.

Accountant

With a postgraduate degree in Accounting, Meghal has a strong background providing management accounting and accounting operations and analysis in various industries. He takes care of all financial matters at Motum B2B, using a collaborative approach to understand and meet the goals of our leadership team. Outside of work, you’ll find Meghal exploring new restaurants and outdoor locales with family and friends.

Social Media Specialist

While earning a degree in Supply Chain Management, Wamfa discovered her passion for social media marketing and worked in industries like logistics, pet food, dental, and fashion before landing at Motum B2B. As our Social Media Specialist, she turns clients' businesses into creative content, using a deep knowledge of analytics to drive further growth. In her spare time, Wamfa is a homebody who loves to feed her sweet tooth, but sports and road trips are her recent favourite ways to get out of the house.

Chief Barketing Pawfficer

Born and raised in Scotland, Harley now lives a hectic Toronto lifestyle. Motivated by pets and food (crabmeat is a recent favorite), he arrives at 9:00 AM sharp to boost morale and sniff for crumbs. You’ll often find him patrolling the kitchen, licking his colleagues or eagerly awaiting his next scheduled business trip. Some say Harley is merely a legend, conjured up by staff who feel the brush of phantom fur against their legs or hear the distant pitter-patter of feet on wood floors. But we’ve looked into his doleful eyes and know him to be real. Don’t believe us? You’ll have to come down and shake his paw in person.
