Good vibes in 2025! Highlights from our team
Another year went by in a flash. Motum B2B reflects on 2025’s new additions to the team, a fresh video for our website, and fun-filled events, to name a few.
It’s been another whirlwind year here at Motum B2B. We’re so grateful to our clients, partners, and team for all the amazing projects and collaborations we accomplished together. As we reflect on the year’s events, we’re sharing some of our favourite highlights and memories of 2025.
Our families grew
The Motum B2B team expanded this year with the arrival of Rebecca, our new project manager. She’s been keeping us on task and managing our workflows so smoothly that it feels like she’s already been here for ages.
Some of our teammates have been growing families of their own, with both Danielle and Zamaan welcoming beautiful newborns into their respective lives. Chris also adopted a fur-baby named Ruby, who’s been a frequent visitor to our office in Toronto. She even helped us set up holiday decorations.
We launched a new homepage
At the end of 2024, Motum B2B became a verified Craft CMS partner, which felt like a natural step considering all the cool websites we’ve been building on the platform.
Our own website is also powered by Craft CMS, so it was a perfect time to upgrade our homepage with visuals that really show off its capabilities. You can click over there now to watch a video about how we take an interconnected approach to B2B marketing — what we like to call the digital heart of your brand.
Our predictions came true
Our most-read blog of 2025 was a B2B trend prediction piece posted in January. According to our forecast, the year’s marketing tactics would focus on targeting Millennial and Gen Z buyers, adopting ecommerce capabilities, investing more in video, trying experiential marketing tactics, and practicing transparency with AI use.
Pretty spot on, if we do say so ourselves. What’s next? A handful of our teammates shared some fresh insights on what defined 2025 and what they feel will evolve in 2026 — check them out here.
Our hobbies helped us grow
We’ve noticed a trend at Motum B2B: everyone on the team seems to have a mix of cool or unusual hobbies. Nicole, a dedicated weightlifter, hit some new personal bests in deadlifting. Mark had a musical year, picking up guitar lessons, practicing old bluegrass and nautical folk songs, and nailing his singing part in an annual Christmas choir. We also have a few birdwatchers who had fun testing out what species they could identify in the wild.
Our humble copywriters built up their creative muscles with some hobby projects — one published a scary novel and the other a cozy video game. (But they're shy, so we'll let you guess who.)
We gave back to the community
As part of a United Way charity event, Danny climbed the CN Tower from bottom to top in less than 22 minutes! Jeanette, an avid runner, ran a series of races for charity in Hamilton’s Run the Hammer event. Several teammates also grew their facial hair to raise money for Movember, a cause we like to support each year — and a chance to try out eccentric new mustache styles.
We had a ball at team events
We look forward to every chance we get to reconnect with our team in person, and this summer’s baseball game was an extra-special treat. We got to cheer on the Toronto Blue Jays as they beat the Chicago Cubs 2–1! Our party left the stadium hoarse and slightly sunburnt, but it was well worth it.
Our next event will be less sweaty and more swanky. Just before the holiday break kicks off, we’ll be toasting to the past year and enjoying a team dinner at Jump Restaurant in Toronto.
Keep the good vibes going in 2026
Our year wouldn’t have been nearly as special without our clients, partners, and readers — a big thank you to all of you!
